Fritz Hansen is renowned for their elegant and functional furniture, which has set the standard for Danish design for decades. The collaboration with Piet Hein gave birth to the famous Superellipse™ table series. The collection includes round and rectangular tables, such as the iconic Superellipse table, the Supercircular table, and other models designed by Piet Hein, Bruno Mathsson, and Arne Jacobsen.
The Superellipse table was inspired by Piet Hein’s innovative solution to a traffic problem at Sergels Torg in Stockholm, serving as a remarkable example of combining aesthetics and function.
